We're Preparing the Soil - Opening August 2027

A Note to Our Community

We are deeply grateful for the interest and trust so many families have placed in Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori. After actively searching for a facility that truly reflects our vision, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our opening to August 2027. This was not a decision made lightly. We are committed to getting it right because your children deserve nothing less.

We are still growing, still dreaming, and still building something beautiful for Reno's children. If you'd like to stay connected as we move toward 2027, we warmly invite you to fill out an interest form. We would love for your family to be part of what's coming.

Nevada Ready! Pre-K4 Enrollment
4 Years Old on August 1, 2027

The Pre-K program will be 100% funded through Nevada Ready! Pre-K grants. Your child may qualify if any of the following apply:

  • Income: Household income at or under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL): Official 2026 Federal Poverty Guidelines

  • Special Circumstances: Foster care or experiencing homelessness

  • Language: Primary home language is not English

  • Disability: Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

Our Pre-K program is separate from our charter school and has its own enrollment form and lottery. However, children who attend our grant-funded Pre-K program receive priority enrollment into Kindergarten at NNWM, as required by Nevada law.

Charter School Enrollment
(Kindergarten–3rd Grade)

After any priority enrollment, available seats in the charter school are filled through a fair, random, weighted lottery designed to support equitable access.

The child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope that humanity can develop in a new direction.

Location

We are thoughtfully moving toward securing our school site, with several well-situated location options under consideration, all within 20 minutes of downtown Reno. We are focused on selecting the site that will ensure the best possible environment for our future students and families.
